Mujuru arrested

A man from Luveve in Bulawayo is in trouble for allegedly burning the bush in Standish Farm in Umguza.
The man Kidwell Mujuru (45) was not asked to plead to the charge when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya and was remanded out of custody to October 22.
The court heard that on October 8 2015 at Standish Farm in Umguza which is owned partly by Chris Follwell and Printan Nkala was lit by Mujuru which spread and completely affected land which had grass for grazing, dry shrubs and scorched big trees.
Environmental Management Agency officers attended the scene and assessed that approximately 121 hectares of land has been affected.
This led to his arrest.
