The member of the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) based at Imbizo Baracks recently lost his cash when he was lured into the dancing spot by a suspected hooker who later allegedly dipped her hands into his pocket and fished it out surreptitiously.
This was heard when the suspected hooker Patience Ndlovu (28) of Nkulumane appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Gladmore Mushove charged with theft.
She was not asked to plead to the charge and was remanded to October 20 for trial.
The court heard that on October 16 2015 the soldier Richmore Zindimu (40) was drinking beer at the extreme Bar at 9 avenue and Joshua Nkomo Street when he was approached by Ndlovu and lured him into the dancing stage while she was touching his whole body. She allegedly got access of the pocket which had money and fished it out unnoticed.
She allegedly went out and returned suddenly to again dance with the soldier.
The soldier discovered the money missing when he wanted to use it to buy and it was no where to be found. He took her to the police leading to her arrest.
