Holiday Inn employee in trouble for stealing $340

An employee with the Holiday Inn in Bulawayo is in trouble after he allegedly stole $340 which he collected from booking clients at the hotel.
Samson Madzamuse (26) was not asked to plead to theft when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya on October 22.
The magistrate remanded him out of custody to October 26 for trial.
The court heard that between May 7 and July 31 this year the accused was at work when he collected cash from the hotel clients and instead converted it to his own use.
The theft was discovered by a senior official Grace Cuchu (40) who reported the matter to the police leading to his arrest.
