Man sells house twice

A man from Pumula South in Bulawayo is in trouble after he sold the house for the second time after the first buyer passed away.
Joshua Zenzo Tshuma (75) was not asked to plead to fraud when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Adeline Mbeure.
The magistrate remanded him out of custody to November 11 for trial.
The court heard that on September 11 1985 Tshuma sold house number R62 Mzilikazi in Bulawayo to Isaih Ndlovu for Z$6 502, 84 and signed content form at the housing office.
Tshuma handed over rent card to Isiah Ndlovu at Mzilikazi Housing Offices and the new owner occipied the hosue.
On October 23 1998 Tshuma through his legal representative Web Low and Barry wrote a letter to the Bulawayo City Council Housing Office informing them to change the house ownership into Isiah's names.
On march 2 1990 Isiah passed away before the house was changed into his name leaving his four children and wife in the house.
On June 5 2014 Tshuma sold the house to Kudzai Shepherd Mutendahama for $15 000 through Cheda and Partners law firm.
Mutendahama managed to pay $5000 and later discovered that the same house belonged to the late Isiah who had bought it in 1985.
A report made to the police led to Tshuma's arrest.
