Man jail 36 months for spate of break ins and theft

A man from Binga has been slapped with 36 months jail term for a spate break ins and theft case committed in Binga.
The man Innocent Mudimba pleaded not guilty to the charges when he appeared before Hwange magistrate Portia Mhlanga Moyo.
The magistrate convicted and sentenced him to 36 months in jail. Six months of the sentence were suspended for five years on condition of good behaviour. Asked why he committed the offence, he said "I wanted to buy clothes for my wife. he also had the previous suspended sentence for theft brought forward.
The court was told that on July 9 2015 accused went to several business in Binga where he broke in and stole several goods and cash costing thousands of dollars.
Reports made to the police led to his arrest.
