Hwange man up for stealing from employer

A man from Empumalanga area in Hwange who was employed by Vast Engineering Services Company as a sales representative is in trouble after he stole from the employer.
Brain Chinjonjo (30) appeared before Hwange magistrate Portia Mhlanga Moyo charged with four counts of theft.
The court heard that on July 177 2015 Hwange High School gave the company a contract top repair 120 chairs and supply 40 laboratory stools.
He with the intention to steal told the school head, Bhekani Moyo to deposit the payment into Natasha Matiza's account at Agribank account instead of the company account.
On 15 October the school head deposited $918 into Natasha's account and employer discovered the anomaly before the accused could withdrew the money.
Among the 120- chairs which were given Vast Engineering Services Company to repair the accused person took 60 chairs and re-paird them himself for personal gain without the knowledge and consent of his employer.
On September 2 accused at Chewumba Primary School supplied 17 desks worthy $1190 to the school without disclosing the transactions to his employer.
He also misrepresented to Ndangababi Primary school that he was acting in his capacity as a sales person of the Vast Engineering and repaired furniture thereby discrediting the company of its image.
Report made to the police led to his arrest.
