Zvimba's Dermax Employees complain about Chinese employees harassment

Heal Zimbabwe Trust has reported that during the month of October it received a complainant from the Dermax company employees who said the Chinese employers were harassing them.

"On the 17th of October, HZT received a complaint from Dermax employees complaining about inhuman working conditions and ill-treatment from their employer. Dermax is a Chinese Chrome mining Company in Kutama Ward 5," said the trust.

"The employees working in the open cast and shaft mining areas complained that they were not being paid and they were working for long hours."

The trust said to worsen matters, they were neither receiving protective clothing nor medical cover upon suffering injuries.
