Hwange woman demands $10 000 from man who breached marriage promise

A woman from Hwange in Matabeleland North has sued her former lover demanding compensation of $10 000 for breach of marriage promise.
Musa Primrose Moyo sued Comfort Moyo her lover demanding the money but the case was thrown out after the magistrate found the man not guilty and discharged him.
Musa had told the court that she was not angry because of being dumped by Comfort but the concern was that he had wasted her time knowing that he will not marry her. She said she suspect that her lover dumped her because she has found another woman. She also told the court that they started their love affair in 2011 and the relationship fell sour sometime in 2014.
But the magistrate Rosemary Dube said the $10 000 law suit was illegal and dismissed the law suit.
