Young People Empowerment and Development Trust to host Christmas braai for Khayelihle Children

The Young People Empowerment and Development Trust founder Geneva Sibanda has said his organisation will on November 28 host a Christmas braai party for the Khayelihle Children's home in Bulawayo here poetry will be performed.
He said this will be an opportunity for 120 children accommodated at the centre to enjoy an open braai and his organisation with make donations to the children among the donation balls.
"These are young people with sad background a majority abandoned (dumped children) some are orphans. They live in their own villages with each having its family and have their mother's who are employees of Khayelihle," Sibanda said.
"These young persons are put in groups and each group has its own home juts like any other village in rural homes.
"The children visits their friends in the homes within the village itself Khayelihle.
"Some five young persons at the home are at universities one of them recently graduated with a masters degree living at the home. Some children are in various schools, Mzilikazi High, Evelyn, Milton High etc."
He said his organization seek to empower the children in various ways.
