BCC senior PR officer attends International training workshop

Bulawayo City Council's senior Public Relations Officer Nesisa Mpofu was last week party of participants who attended the VNG International and Municipal Development Partnership workshop financed by the European Union to Zimbabwe.
Mpofu revealed the developments through her Facebook page.
"Last week I attended a three day training workshop on participatory policy making in the Zimbabwe context," she said.
"The training was organised by VNG International and the Municipal Development Partnership,with financial support from the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Zimbabwe."
She said The workshop aimed at enhancing the capacity of local authorities in participatory public policy design, development and implementation.
"It looked at how to improve engagement of citizens in local governance," Mpofu said. "Participants were drawn from local authorities and Civil Society Organisations."
