Harare Residents Trust has said that residents at Seke Unit L in Harare are complaining that they are getting water supplies for only two days per week.

"Seke Unit L Residents are complaining that they get water supply for only two days a week and they are forced to resort to using water from dip wells some that do not have safe drinking water," the trust said.

"Refuse Collection: There is no refuse collection done in the area and residents dump their refuse in open spaces and this has since resulted in the drain that flows with sewer from old houses being blocked and sewer is now passing through residential stands."

The Trust said negligence from our councils is creating health time bombs in our communities.

"The HRT also urges residents to come up with better waste disposal strategies rather than dump garbage anywhere as this will come backfire on the very residents," said the trust.
