A Woman in Chivi is reported to be surviving on fishing expeditions as the nation struggles to create jobs for its people.

Media reports states that one of the women conducting the project is Sophie Chihamure of Ruvengo who is always visiting the rivers to catch fish which she sells to the community for survival.

She told the media that selling fish attracts significant income for her as she manages to buy sugar and exercise books for her grand children.

In most parts of the country fishing is usually regarded as the work for men but women are reportedly now taking the job as a way of earning a living.
