Six roomed house demolished in Epworth, occupant raped

Harare Residents Trust has made sensational allegations that a six roomed house in Epoworth was demolished and its female occupant got raped during the process.

"A 6 roomed house was demolished with all the property inside. The owner of the house was raped afterwards by three men who were involved in the issue, the matter was political," said Trust. "The owner of the house went to Zim-Rights to get assistance and she was given papers to arrest the accused person. But the matter was not handled properly until the accused person ran away. Up to date the story has not been resolved and the victim is living in shacks."
