NOTICE: Bulawayo street Mall

BULAWAYO JASON MOYO STREET MALL
The public is hereby informed that portion of Jason Moyo Street between 9th Avenue and Leopold Takawira and portion of 8th Avenue between J.M.N Nkomo and Fife Streets shall be temporarily closed by Bulawayo City Council from 12 December 2015 at 0800 hours to accommodate the Annual Christmas Mall and to promote business from various companies and individuals in this area.
Council has allocated sites for various permitted activities on the mall. The following activities will also be allowed in the Mall subject to written permission from Council:-
- Lectures and Cultural events involving dance groups and theatre.
- All other forms of cultural displays would be promoted during this event.
- Commercial activities where shops can establish open markets where they can promote their goods and services.
- Messages through outdoor advertising media would be allowed and such messages could be on screens or gadgets approved by Council.
- Promotional Road Shows within the Mall.
Vending is strictly prohibited within the Mall.
The public is advised to exercise extreme caution when using these roads and to observe all signs and detour arrows for alternative routes.
Any incovenience is sincerely regretted.
