RMS management clash with fired workers over payouts

The Road Motor Service (RMS) private limited company is embroiled in a fight with fifteen former workers who were dismissed on three months notices and have not yet been paid their dues to date.
The angry former workers accused the employer of ditching them in order to employ new people in their positions.
The 15 workers said their termination of contract letters were issued on July 31 and they were promised their packages which to date they have not been paid.
The management indicated that their were offloading the workers due to financial constraints.
Former workers took the matter up with Transport and General Workers Union which summoned the management to a hearing but no one turned up.
They said their efforts to engage the management over the issue has been fruitless and called on the government to intervene to assist them get their money.
