One year child dies after getting trapped in a bucket full of water

A one year seven months old baby in Tshabalala Bulawayo died after she got trapped in a bucket full of water that was being used by her mother to do laundry, police have said.
Police details said the incident occurred on November 11 at 4:30pm when the child, Sithabile Bvurure's mother Margret Ncube was washing clothes at home.
The informant in the matter is the child's father Micha Bvurure. Police said on the day the child's mother was doing laundry while the child was playing around nearby.
The mother went to hang the clothes on a line leaving her playing clothes to the bucket full of water. Police states that the mother went to hang the clothes for 30 minutes. The child's father who had gone to the shops returned and asked her about the child's where about and she said she was playing where she is doing laundry.
When the mother went back to where she had left the child she found her in a bucket with the head trapped by the bucket';s handle and she was already dead.
A report was made to the police. The matter is treated as sudden death and no found play is suspected.
