Cop bashed by kombi crew

TWO commuter omnibus crew kidnapped and bashed a police officer on their way to a police station.
The pair had been arrested for violating traffic rules.
Israel Kativhu (25) and Tafadzwa Zvirau also aged 25 are facing charges of assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.
The duo denied the claims saying the cop - Bruce Marondedze injured himself as he jumped off a moving vehicle.
The pair further denied allegations that they assaulted the cop but he was the one who harassed them along the way to Avondale police station.
The incident happened on October 1 at around 3pm.
