Harare City Council has repo4rtedly issued 200 000 summons to residents over the non payment of bills to the local authority.
Harare Residents Trust made the revelations.
"The City of Harare has reportedly issued 200 000 summons to residents.Most residents approach Council offices with different amounts to pay their bills and they are turned back without paying and council demands for a full payment," said the trust. "Residents feel free to come to our offices so that we give you advice on how to respond to summons."
