Bulawayo residents have been condemned as being unreasonable and thoughtless by voting for the ruling Zanu PF candidate in Nkulumane at a time when the party has totally failed to receive the economy to a point where the same voters came out of homes without electricity to vote for a failing political party.
Zanu PF Candidate Kilian Sibanda beat the Progressive Democrats of Zimbabwe and Renewal Democrats of Zimbabwe candidates in the polls held on December 19.
Gwanda Resident Association official Bekezela Fuzwayo said amidst all the hardship that people are going through as a country, Zanu PF has gained yet another parliamentary seat winning the Nkulumane by election.
"Forget the voter apathy because of the non participation of the main opposition parties, but those few who voted could still have sent a message through that ballot," "How does someone come out of a home with no electricity, no water etc still find it in them to add to the Zanu PF voices in parliament. Can we be a little more serious, do we really think that something different is yet to happen."
