Reports state that there were two voters' rolls which were being used in the Nkulumane by elections amid concerns why the other participating parties failed to challenge the move.

Zanu PF candidate Killaian Sibanda won the election against the Progressive Democrats of Zimbabwe and Renewal Democrats of Zimbabwe candidates.

Gwanda Residents Association official Bekezela Fuzwayo, said he has been reading the Zimbabwe Election Support Network ZESN preliminary report on the Nkulumane by election which they observed.

"It's shocking that the participating political parties allowed an election to go on with two voters rolls in place. Where in the world has that ever been done" he said.

"The valueless of our elections has always bordered around the issue of the voters roll. Prior to the election it was announced that only people who will have registered as voters in the Nkulumane November polling station based voter registration exercise were going to cast their votes in the by election."

Fuzwayo said then why was the 2013 voters roll brought to the polling stations and used?

"Over and above that, where did ZANU PF get the 13 000 people they registered as voters in Nkulumane? We know for certain they were ZANU PF people only because opposition didn't even bother going to register,": he said.

"When will the manipulation of elections in Zimbabwe ever come to an end? Manipulating elections even when being pitted against minors like PDZ and RDZ?"
