A house in Mzilikazi was almost reduced to ashes this morning as it was gutted by fire.
Hundreds of residents rushed to the house to assist salvaging the property.
Only a few items were saved.
Eyewitnesses said they suspect the fire was caused by an electrical fault.
Bulawayo Fire Brigade team rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire.
