Strange phone call leads woman to commit suicide

A woman from Buhera reportedly committed suicide after she received a call from a stranger.
Chipinge District Police Spokesperson Assistant Inspector Blessing Kadzuraumera confirmed the death of Ndanatsei Mutero of Mwacheta village.
He said on December 16 2015 Mutero received a phone call while at her home and deleted the record soon after answering the call. He said a few minutes later she got into her bedroom and took an unidentified liquid.
She went to the toilet where she poured the poison into the water glass and drank it. She then disposed the water glass and poison container into the toilet. She then bade fare well to her daughter before collapsing and she died on the spot. He daughter ran and alerted their neighbours and a report was made to the police.
