'Kalawa Home Coming' mobile phone thief nabbed

LUCKY THIEVES recorded roaring business during the annual Kalawa Home Coming gig in December as revellers lost valuable mobile phone gadgets.
A 15 year old boy was arrested by police with a bag full of 34 phones stolen during the show, B-Metro reported.
The boy was arrested by an alert security guard who had spotted him exiting the venue clutching a suspicious bag.
Bulawayo police spokesperson Precious Simango said six thieves were arrested n December 27.
"Police managed to apprehend six suspects on the night who included two juveniles. The two juveniles will be rehabilitated through social systems and tried in juvenile's courts" she said.
Recovered gadgets are kept at Bulawayo Central police station.
