The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission has set 58 polling stations for voter registration for the Mhondoro Mubaira constituency by elections.

In a notice published in the press, ZEC indicated that it will be conducting polling station voter registration exercise in Mhondoro-Mubaira between 9 and 18 January 2016.

"Please not that the commission shall use the voters' rolls that were used during the 2013 harmonized elections as the basis for the exercise," reads the notice.

Needed for the registration are the national identity cards, or valid Zimbabwean passport and proof of residence.

The constituency was left vacant after the ruling Zanu PF fired the MP Sylvester Nguni for alleged links with the fired former Vice President Joice Mujuru.
