Harare City health department is reportedly on high alert of possible typhoid outbreak at the Hopley area.
Harare Resident Trust indicated that the City Health Department is on high alert on the possible explosive outbreak of typhoid in Hopley.
"Dr Prosper Chonzi, the City Health Director has told the HRT that residents must stop buying food from anyplace," said the trust. "He said: "Residents have to boil their water, no matter where they are getting the water from. Hopley is a health time bomb for us. There are no health facilities in Hopley, and the clinic is too small, a makeshift. at Hopley in Harare."
