Sewage burst haunt St Mary's

Harare Residents Trust has expressed concerns over the sewage burst in St Mary's Harare which the local authority seems to be failing to stop.

This has prompted fears by residents of possible outbreak of diseases.

"Sewerage flowed unhindered in St Mary's Chitungwiza, and the residents became desperate and hopeless earlier today when water was restored, forcing sewerage bursts all over the place. The Chitungwiza Municipality is required to take its work seriously and attend to residents problems without taking too long to respond," said the trust.
