Man nabbed for impersonating a police officer

A Bulawayo man has been arrested for impersonating a police office. The man and two accomplices who are still at large allegedly approached a Nigerian operated shop in the city centre and demanded to see operating licenses from the shop owner, who obliged. The Nigerian national showed the con 'policemen' all the operating documents.
The 'policemen' insisted that the papers were short of all the requirements and thus solicited an unspecified amount from the Nigerian.
The shop owner was courageous enough to phone the police to come and handle the situation as he was suspicious of the 'policeman's' credibility thus leading to the arrest.
