BCC warns motorists on trees

Bulawayo City Council has warned motorists that it would not be held accountable if any trees fall on packed vehicles.
Today, the local authority is cutting trees within the central business district.
Said acting town clerk, Sikhangele Zhou in a notice:
"Please be informed that the City of Bulawayo will be cutting and trimming trees along Leopold Takawira between Fife Street and George Silundika and City Hall Terminus.
"Members of the public are therefore advised not to park or move near the places mentioned above between 09:30an and 12:00 noon on Friday 26th of February.
Council should not be liable for any damages to property or injuries as a result of the exercise" said Zhou.
