Renowned historian and cultural expert Pathisa Nyathi today told Bulawayo City Council councillors that there was nothing wrong with a mural painted on the perimeter wall of the centre of a semi-indicent boy.
The murals depict various scenes of indigenous culture and heritage such as boys riding a tame ox, boy milking a cow, women fetching water from a well, traditionally painted hut, women preparing traditional beer and an Ndebele warrior.
However, it the picture of a semi-n.ked boy that got councillors talking.
"There is nothing wrong with the painting. Infact I am waiting for any to challenge that and I will explain its historical context," said Nyathi during a tour.
The images were painted by Bhekitshe Ntshali, a Bulawayo based visual artist
