Mutare council accused of neglecting residents

Mutare residents have accused the council of failing to deliver services to them.
This was revealed by one of the residents Kenneth Matimaire who said there is a high degree of discontent within Sakubva residents over the state of service delivery in Mutare's oldest neighbourhood.
"They feel neglected, and relegated to mere outcasts in their own city. It was an emotional meeting as the residents narrated the living conditions they have been subjected to at a community meeting organised by Misa Zimbabwe, Mutare advocacy committee," he said. "The residents demanded more engagement with the city fathers."
