Zimbabwe media is sharply divided over the number of people who turned up for MDC-T demonstration in Harare on Thursday.
Dubbed "Mother of all demonstrations" state run and private media have offered varied estimates.
Herald estimated the crowed to be 800 or slightly under.
NewsDay and online outlet New Zimbabwe said close to 10 000 while British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) settled for about 2000.
The number games are so telling as Zanu-PF youth are gearing for a one million man march.
MDC-T secretary-general, Douglas Mwonzora is qouted saying the demonstration marked the beginning of a series of protests.
"We are going to demonstrate again in Bulawayo, Mutare, Gweru, Masvingo and other cities before we cascade to rural areas and growth points. This is not is a demonstration for regime change, but about issues affecting ordinary people in the country. We are demonstrating against poverty, against high unemployment and indeed against corruption," he said.
