A CHIMANIMANI woman dragged her neighbour to the Mutare Civil Courts accusing her of having an extra marital affair with her husband.
Manica Post reported that Paidamoyo Sakutanga told Mutare magistrate, Yeukai Chigodora that Pambudzai Mwadi was cheating with her husband. She said this has resulted in her husband divorcing her."Your Worship, my marriage has collapsed because of this woman. She is my neighbour, but she has been cheating with my husband behind my back, now my husband has turned his back on me. He does not want anything to do with me," said Sakutanga.
The court heard that Sakutanga was away in South Africa when Mwadi and Passmore Matanga (Sakutanga's husband) co-habited without her knowledge. She came back and heard rumours of the blossoming affair.
"Your Worship, last year I exposed them in the local newspaper, The Manica Post and now they are back at it again. I went to confront Mwadi over the matter, but she cares not. They are always sleeping together. It is shameful because she is my neighbour. I just want peace," she said.
Mwadi denied the allegations saying Sakutanga was the one who harasses her and her family.
"Your Worship, she told her older son that I am a woman of loose morals. I have nothing against her. Her husband is the one who approached me and we fell in love. I also need that peace order to be granted on my favour as well because we have heard enough of this woman," she said.
A binding order was granted to both parties.
