Former ZBC presenter, Knight warns Mugabe over bond notes

Former ZBC presenter Eric Knight has warned President Robert Mugabe and his Zanu PF government to stop playing by people's lives by wanting to introduce the bond notes which they claim would be equivalent to the United States of America Dollar yet the money would not work beyond the borders of Zimbabwe.
Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Governor John Mangudya recently announced that the government would soon be introducing the bond notes of the $2, $5, $10, and $20 note denominations in a way to solve the cash crisis currently rocking the country.
"But the Zimbabwean Governor of the Reserve Bank announced that the new Bond notes or coins will be equivalent to the US Dollar in terms of value," Knight said. "Really?Old man do not do like that please. How on earth is that possible when it can only buy nowhere else except in Zimbabwe? Surely how can you insult the people's intelligence like that. Lingabojwayela abantu kangaka please. God bless Zimbabwe! God bless Africa!"
