Dynamos FC needed an early penalty to register its first win of the season.
Dembare beat Tsholotsho FC at Barbourfields Stadium today.
Tsholotsho player Thando Ncube recklessly pulled down Mupasiri in the box, resulting in a penalty.
That was after six minutes into the game and Ocean Mushure converted.
Last year, the two league games ended in draws.
Todays' win, brought relief to Dembrare fans.
The team had been struggling leading in Portuguese coach Silva to be sacked after five games.
Lyold Mutasa appointed acting coach and given a five game ultimatum to impress.
He lost his first match to red hot FC Platinum last week at Rufaro sparking violence from Dembare fans.
The Glamour Boys have scored only three goals.
In a post match interview Mutasa said "It was difficult because we have been poor recently. Tsholotsho played well, but it's the result that counts.
"I am not looking forward to the transfer window but to win games. Who knows. You wrote that I was given five games".
Tsholotsho FC coach Lizwe Sweswe said "We lost the game in the first five minutes. It's back to the drawing board."
