Duo assault and rob Bulawayo man for blowing their beer cover

Two men Thandazani Moyo (30) from Matsheumhlope and Happiness Ncube (26) of Njube suburbs in Bulawayo are in trouble after they attacked a city resident accusing him of blowing their cover by telling the police by showing them where they hide their beer while drinking at a public place which was illegal.
They were not asked to plead to the robbery and assault charge when they appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Tawanda Muchemwa.
The magistrate remanded them to June 6. The court heard that on may 23 at 5:30pm the two were at Egodini bus terminus where the complainant Raphael Moyo (32) of Magwegwe was playing snooker.
Thandazani had a misunderstanding with Raphael blaming him of informing the police that they were hiding their beer which they were drinking at a public place.
They assaulted him with fists all over the body and Ncube grabbed and searched him before taking his $70. A report made to the police led to their arrest.
