Harare Residents Trust exposes city's fuel scandal

The Harare Residents Trust (HRT) has claimed that it has established that the Raven Court Fuels siphoned $70 400 from Harare Water through a fuel scam.
The trust claimed the scandal involves Finance Manager Godfrey Kusangaya, a Mr L. Mabika and Audit Manager Joseph Issa has revealed that following the revelations by the HRT, the documents relating to this company have vanished from council offices, and that the company has folded, without any trace of where it has suddenly disappeared to.
"We will continue to dig deeper, until everyone implicated is prosecuted or internally disciplined by the City of Harare. Anyone with further information concerning this scam, please feel free to get in touch with the HRT," said the trust.
