A SECURITY GARD with Nokel Security Pvt Limited has been dragged to court for stabbing a Bulawayo motorists in a dispute over a woman.
Bitwell Ndlovu (26) of Hope Fountain in the outskirts of Bulawayo pleaded guilty to attempted murder before Bulawayo magistrate Manase Musiiwa.
On May 8 this year at 6pm Kevin Sibanda
of Gumtree was with his brother Elton, Langton Khumalo and other
four men fixing a vehicle which had developed a technical fault at Gumtree Shops. Ndlovu emerged from the nearby
bush.
He asked them about a certain woman he claimed was inside the vehicle that was being fixed. Sibanda told him that they never saw the woman.
He produced a
shot iron rode which he used to stab Sibanda once on the left upper side of the
stomach and he sustained deep cut.
Sibanda disarmed him and flee away
from the scene while holding the metal rode. Ndlovu picked up stones that he pelted
at them.
Sibanda said his brother then got into a commuter omnibus and went into the city when they later went to the United Bulawayo Hospital for Sibanda's medical attention. A report made to the police led to Ndlovu's arrest.
