Mumbengewi NOT a national hero, to be buried in Masvingo

The late former Minister of Finance and veteran educationalist, Dr Samuel Mumbengegwi who has been declared a liberation war hero.
He died on Tuesday.
Mumbengegwi (74) succumbed to hypertension, diabetes and a kidney ailment.
According to ZBC, Mumbengegwi's body will lie in state at the family home in Vainona today (Friday) before leaving for burial at the Mumbengegwi homestead in Chivi, Masvingo province on Sunday.
He is survived by his wife Salina, five children and 8 grandchildren.
Mourners are gathered at House Number 22 Stour Road, Vainona, Harare.
