Woman seeks protection against abusive hubby

A Harare woman has approached the court seeking a protection order against her abusive husband.
Rambisai Myamadzara told the court that her husband abused her physical, emotional, economically and verbally.
"My husband is very abusive. Whenever he comes home he abuses me. He does not care for my financial needs. He insults me using obscene language," she said.
In response Benerdict Mazhindu said he was surprised at the allegations.
"I do not eve stay with her yet she is saying I abuse her. I stay in Chegutu. I do not understand why she wants this court to believe that I abuse her," he said.
The magistrate Gamuchirai Siwardi ordered Benedict not to physically, emotionally and financially and verbally abuse his wife.
