Police violated Mawarire's constitutional rights - Magistrate

Harare Regional Magistrate Vakai Chikwekwe on Wednesday faulted the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) for violating Pastor Evan Mawarire's constitutional rights.
Mawarire was set free after spending 5 hours in court.
The Zimbabwe Lawyers For Human Rights (ZLHR) said: "Zimbabwe Magistrate faults police for violating Pastor Evan Mawarire's constitutional rights and orders his release."
ZLHR thanked the people of Zimbabwe for their supports.
"Thank you for spending the day with us & for ur support. Long Live ZLHR Long Live for protection and promotion of human rights," said via Twitter.
