Ex-cop vows to gun-down wife over divorce

A former policeman is threatening to gun down his ex-wife as punishment for divorcing him.

Sibonokuhle Mlotshwa told a court that from the day she filed for divorce against Tshaka Mlotshwa she has never known peace.

She said Tshaka threatens to murder her.

Tshaka, she said is in a habit of stalking her.

"He is always insulting me with vulgar language and stalking me while threatening to kill me.

"He threatened to kill me with a pistol and burn down our house as a way of fixing me for filling for divorce" she told magistrate Manasa Musiiwa.

She added that Tshaka vowed he was prepared to go to jail after killing her.

Tshaka did not bother turning up in court.

Sibonokuhle was granted the protection order.
