Chivhu taxi driver rapes employer’s daughter

A Chivhu man who is employed by his best friend as a taxi driver has been remanded in custody for allegedly raping the daughter of the later.

William Matimba (45) allegedly raped the girl on three different occasions last time and this was when the girl was doing grade 7. The complainant is now doing form one at a boarding school in Gutu.
Matimba allegedly raped the girl when he collected her from school to her residential place in Mvuma.
The State alleged that sometime in October last year, the complainant met Matimba on her way home and she entered in the accused person's vehicle so that he could take her home. The accused person then travelled along the road that leads to Chivhu cemetery and parked at the side of the road.
Matimbe allegedly raped the girl from the back seat.
On the second count, the accused again picked the girl and drove along Marondamashanu Road where he parked at the side of the road and allegedly raped the girl.
In November he picked the girl and allegedly raped her along Nyazvidzi Road.The matter came to light this year in June when the accused person sent airtime to the complainant. 
The complainant was asked by her parents and she disclosed that the accused person had sexual intercourse with her and he told her not to tell anyone.
