Mashonaland created what Mugabe is! - MRP

Mthwakazi Republic Party has accused the people of Mashonaland provinces for creating a dictator in the name of President Robert Mugabe since 1980 when they connived with his and the whites to rob PF Zanu leader former Vice President Joshua Nkomo of his deserved place in State house just because he was not a shone.

Party's spokesperson Mbonisi Gumbo said the Mugabe who is now called a monster was created by the Harare elite!

"They are the ones who helped him in his desire to create a one party state and used our ignorant parents to fight Zapu. Mugabe was worshipped and shielded from reality by the educated Harare folks. It was these educated who went all over telling our parents 'Pasi naNgomo nemaNdevere'. They made us hate each other so that Zapu would not share political positions with them," he said.

"You have seen YouTube videos of your parents shamelessly dancing denouncing Nkomo and Ndebeles, is that me in those videos? It's your parents urged on by the educated folks. That's what we call tribalism!! Let me repeat it, Harare's educated folks like Zvobgo and Ushewokunze and others, created and thrived under Mugabe, and hence enhanced tribal hatred and corruption, dictatorship. I have Iong said stop worshipping leaders."

He said he long advocated for unity among people and long said he will not stop highlighting disparities.

"Is that being a tribalist or dividing you? The educated always use subtle and covert means to hide their tribalism. In Zanu it was blunt and the new educated elite, smart, covert and subtle will use sweet sounding democratic words to demonise those highlighting their wrongs as tribalists. Harare folks, should stop behaving like angels," he said.

"When Pius Ncube was scandalised over a woman, we all turned against him and he was completely silenced. On the other hand when something similar happened to Tsvangiarai, he was instead lionised as Bhuru, a real man, indoda sibili doing what he must do. When Welshman Ncube parted ways with Morgan Tsvangiarai, he was demonised and called all sorts of names and almost isolated."

He said even Tsvangirai kept himself was closer to Mugabe than Ncube in the GNU.

"Did the same name calling happen to Tendai Biti and Elton Mangoma? When Ncube calls for a coalition, he is begging for relevance but when it's Biti, he is ok and wants unity! Really? Should we be blind to that disparity? When corruption is so pervasive," he said.

"Even the international community lists many leaders as corrupt, why does Harare voices of democracy focus on Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko's shops, should I be blind to that? Harare folks, please don't think some of us are blind to reality. When a Ndebele person aspires to lead a party it is tribalism, but when a Shona does it is only splitting votes? Is that so? Munopenga! Educated people are dangerous."

He said they created Gukurahundi and led to the split of MDC and now think they can just go about using subtle means to dictate the pace of democracy to suit their agendas.

"I had only asked why Bulawayo people had no help since last week they have been languishing in prison, and yet you had all rallied around the Pastor," he said. "All I want is us to realise and accept our diversity and treat each other as equal, the famous and the poor, Ndebele and Shona, white and black. Don't pretend to be holier and to be good at name calling. Don't perpetuate what you claim to hate in Zanu. Tribalism will one day engulf our kids, as we have watched in other countries. Stop saying every concern raised is tribalism."
