A 16-year-old student was stabbed twice on the left breast and shoulder by a teacher with whom she was allegedly in a love relationship.

The girl's whereabouts and condition still had not been ascertained by the time of going to print.

The teacher, Nhlonipho Nyathi, allegedly stormed into the room where the girl was writing an exam and stabbed her, thereby disrupting the examination as other pupils fled the room into a nearby bush.

Nyathi was coming from the headmistress' office where he had stabbed his boss 15 times all over the body when she tried to question him about allegations of his involvement with the school pupil.

Nyathi's affair with the 16-year- old became the talk of the school and the community prompting investigations. If tried, Nyathi will be facing charges of attempted murder.
