Chiredzi North MP (Zanu PF) Robert Mukwena is not answering his phone or seen at home after failing to pay his domestic worker's outstanding wages as arranged by Chiredzi Labour Officers.
Mukwena recently agreed to a payment plan before the labour officers to clear $1 245 he owes his domestic worker by June 30, 2016 but has so far just paid $315.
Simbarashe Machona Chindidi said his former employer is no longer answering his phone or seen at home as he is looking for him to clear the debt.
"In early June we went to the labour offices where Mukwena undertook to pay the money in instalments.
"He only paid $315 and was supposed to finish off the payment by the end of the month but he had since neglected the agreement.
"I went to the Labour Offices on Monday where they also tried to call him but he was not picking his phone. I was told to come back on Thursday where further action by the labour officers is expected to be taken against him" said Chindidi.
