Former Bulawayo Deputy Mayor Amen Mpofu has attacked the Local government permanent secretary Gorge Mlilo over the Bulawayo City Council's delayed 2016 budget.
"Mlilo must stop behaving like a bull in a China Shop. He must also learn to seek dialogue when ever they a problems. How do you expect Council to perform when a budget you we're given 10 months ago is still not been approved," Mpofu said.
"This time Council is supposed to start preparing 2017 budget yet you are still sitting on their 2016 budget. Just recently you gave instructions to the same council to stop all projects that were to take place throwing thousands of jobs into dust bins."
He said Mlilo comes from this region and worse he once worked at this city he now destroys left right centre.
"Is he being used? What he is doing is nothing other than strangling council operations do that he turns around and label them failures , He is just playing dirt party politics that won't take us any where," he said.
