Visually impaired wife accused of being promiscuous

A Bulawayo visually impaired woman - Clara Chingodora has been accused of cheating by her husband Sunboy Dzivakwe.

Dzivakwe told a court that Chingodora is having affairs with other men who are constantly sending her love messages on her mobile phone.

This claims were made when Chingodora sought a protection order.

She said "I am customarily married to Sunboy Dzivakwe and he's always physically abusing me.

"He constantly assaults me with fists on the face taking advantage of the fact that I am visually impaired.

"When assaulting me he would be accusing me of infidelity saying I am receiving love messages from other men. It surprises me how can I receive love messages on the phone which I am not able to read since I am visually impaired" she is quoted saying by B-Metro.

She said she is denied food as punishment.

On his part Dzivakwe maintained that his wife is ‘promiscuous'.

"The misunderstanding started after I discovered that there were some men who were proposing love to her.

"This was after I had seen some love messages in her phone which had been sent to her by those men".

Chingodora was granted the protection order.
