A three year old Plumtree boy helplessly watched his father mercilessly murder his grandfather with an axe.
That was in 2014 when Certain Moyo (26) from Malisikwana Village killed his father.
He will now spend the rest of this life in jail after Bulawayo High Court Judge Justice Martin Makonese yesterday convicted him of murder with actual intent.
Moyo had hatched the plan to kill his father Siphoko Moyo (77) with his wife identified as Patience Mabhena.
Young Moyo could not take kindly to his father's chastening after he sold his cattle.
The boy who is now five gave testimony in camera saying his father had used an axe to kill his granddad and the wheelbarrow was full of blood.
