Highlanders official Elkannah Dube is favourite to land ZIFA vacant chief executive officer post.
Dube is a seasoned administrator and educationist.
Zifa has began searching for a new CEO.
Previously, Jonathan Mashingaidze was the CEO but his contract expired on April 1.
Prospective candidates must " be a respected professional who exudes personal integrity and loyalty to the association.
"Be an effective and charismatic communicator who can articulate and sell the association's mandate, products and services" ZIFA said in a notice.
Interested applicants have up to September 30 to submit applications. It is not immediately clear whether Dube is keen for the post but he is a favourite among Zifa executives.
