Bulawayo residents should not hoard water in containers as the city is drawing closer to a crippling 24 hour water cuts.
The supply dams only have 30% water, enough for just five month's.
Said BCC senior public relations officer Nesisa Mpofu "Water shedding is starting on 1 November but some residents have already started collecting water in containers.
"We would like to urge residents not to hoard water and use water sparingly,".
